In recent weeks, there have been changes in the German eyewear market: POMBERGER Goisern’s previous German distribution partner, Trends & More, has filed for insolvency. What may initially sound like uncertainty is, however, developing into a clear opportunity for our partner opticians: POMBERGER Goisern will take over distribution in Germany from the beginning of January 2026 – stronger, more personal and more reliable than before.
Direct from Austria – now for Germany too
As an Austrian family business, we have stood for quality, reliability and handshake quality for more than 40 years. The fact that we have repeatedly been honoured in Austria as “Best Frame Supplier” by Austrian opticians speaks to the strength of our service – a strength that will now also benefit opticians in Germany.
By taking over distribution, we are pooling our expertise and ensuring even shorter lines of communication, greater transparency and direct contacts who know our brands inside out.
New team, clear responsibilities
To offer our partner opticians in Germany the best possible service, we have put together a new, experienced sales team. All team members bring years of industry experience and will, from now on, personally look after their respective regions. They carry the entire POMBERGER Goisern brand portfolio:
- Johann von Goisern – handcrafted originals from the Salzkammergut
- NOS Eyewear – traditional craftsmanship from the Cadore Valley
- Zeeland – colourful coastal design from France
- Luxol 1969 – Italian classic style with elegance
